Fishbowl activity!

The “fishbowl” is a teaching strategy that helps students practice being contributors and listeners in a discussion.

During this activity students asked questions, presented opinions, and shared information about Earth's resources.

This strategy is especially useful to make sure all students participate in the discussion, when you want to help students reflect on what a “good discussion” looks like, and when you need a structure for discussing a difficult topics. Few topics which were discussed were:
  1. What is natural resources?
  2. Examples of natural resources?
  3. What are those kind of materials which are man-made yet natural?
  4. What do you understand by the word finite?
